Kyle Leads Early, Settles For An Impressive 6th Place Finish
Selinsgrove, Pa. - The 2008 season is underway at Selinsgrove Speedway and so is excitement around the garage area of the PennSelin Air Sprint Car team.
Kyle started on the pole last Saturday night and led the way with a very impressive run for half of the main event. At the half way mark, Kyle was pressured by some heavy hitters including the number twelve of Blane Heimbach, who eventually went on to win the main event. Kyle managed a solid sixth place finish among the toughest competitors in the 358 division in the area.
The team enters the 2008 season with high expectations. Coming off a dissapointing 2006 followed by a mediocre 2007 season, this upcoming 2008 season, the third for Kyle with car owner Todd Aungst, has the team excited and geared for consistent finishes near the top of the charts.
